James is a fully qualified naval architect – certainly the only one in the B&R studio and quite possibly the only one within a ten mile radius of Wandsworth Bridge Road. Assuredly the possessor of a curious mind which means clients will always get fresh thinking, and a shipyard a lively discussion. Fond of paper over new-fangled digital, James is nevertheless at home in the world of 3D modelling, intact stability discussions ( could apply to him after a studio lunch ) and the latest developments in glazing or azipod drives. He can sail and drive battered camper vans with equal aplomb. Nobody else can do this.
